AWS’s European Sovereign Cloud is now in operation, with one region in Germany brought online after almost three years of build up.

The cloud product, offering AWS cloud infrastructure in Europe operated by independent EU entities out of Germany, was announced in 2023 and had at one point targeted a 2025 launch.
