"There is no longer a meaningful boundary between the kinetic and cyber threat surfaces."
AWS on Tuesday confirmed an outage in Bahrain linked to the Iran war, not long after details emerged of a "Kubernetes wiper" aimed at Iranian cloud systems.
AWS said in an email to The Stack its Bahrain region had been "disrupted as a result of the ongoing conflict," and did not clarify further as to whether its data centre had taken another direct hit.
Authorities in Bahrain did not immediately comment, but The Stack understands the disruption is due to drone activity.
