AWS is mothballing its “unified software development service” CodeCatalyst service – just 30 months after taking it GA

Amazon launched CodeCatalyst with much fanfare at its 2022 re:Invent conference, describing it as a hub to make it “easier to get started building and delivering applications on AWS…”

It even gave the service a bespoke website (its first with a .aws domain) on which it boasted that the service would help customers "quickly build and deliver apps at scale on AWS."
