Software firm IFS has teamed up with robotics firm 1X, Anthropic, Boston Dynamics, and Siemens, as it stakes a fresh claim for future “industrial AI” dominance.

At its “Industrial X” conference in Tribeca, New York, privately held IFS flagged the opportunity for AI and robotics convergence (“an infinite workforce if we get that right,” said IFS CEO Mark Moffat) and greater industrial automation powered by AI.
