NCSC
UK security org will sell hardware products for first time, targeting the global security market.
The UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is entering the hardware space for the first time in its existence, launching a HDMI security device to market.
The SilentGlass device is based on IP engineered by the NCSC and licensed to Goldilock Labs for manufacturing. The “plug-and-play” device blocks malicious data between HDMI and Display Port connections.
NCSC CTO Ollie Whitehouse said the device “shows the impact that the NCSC can have” by working with UK tech vendors on growing their market, and “helping to strengthen national prosperity.”
