MS Teams to let organisers lock bots out of meeting

Only organisers will be able to allow bots into Teams meetings soon

If you aren't the meeting organiser, you'll have to ask nicely to get that Otter listener admitted, as admins get increasing focus in Teams development.

Starting in May, Microsoft will try to lock third-party bots out of Teams meetings by default, requiring organisers – and only organisers – to explicitly let them in.

Microsoft 365 made the roadmap announcement on Friday, just when another (now delayed) admin-friendly feature was due.
