Adobe is adding “hire a CFO” to its to-do list just months after launching its first CEO search in 18 years.
Adobe disclosed alongside record fiscal Q2 results on Thursday that CFO Dan Durn is leaving. Durn is joining semiconductor developer Marvell, with corporate finance leader Steve Day stepping in for the interim effective June 15.
Durn had sat on Marvell's board since April 2024 and resigned the seat to take the CFO job.
His exit comes just three months after CEO Shantanu Narayen kicked off a hunt for his successor. Narayen is stepping down as CEO but will with continue to chair the board as Adobe figures out how to manage its subscription model in the AI era.
