A monster £500 million ERP contract is out to tender from the UK government – which is aiming to replace a plethora of enterprise systems across multiple ministries with one SaaS and one Systems Integrator. 

His Majesty’s Government (HMG) is seeking joint bids from “one primary software supplier and one system integrator” to introduce the planned centralised finance, HR, payroll and procurement shared service function.

The so-called “Unity” programme will establish a cloud-native ERP SaaS for three ministries: The Department for Transport (DfT); Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC), and the HMRC.
