Open source video conferencing platform LiveKit has been adopted by OpenAI, Oracle and Spotify. It also underpins Visio, a video conferencing tool built by the French government that recently made headlines.

The French state announced they are abandoning American video conferencing platforms for a homegrown alternative, built using LiveKit, in its latest push for tech sovereignty.
