The NHS’s Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) Ming Tang has welcomed a new 10-year-plan for the healthcare service that puts tech at its heart – but warned there is “a lot to do to deliver this transformation.”

She spoke as the NHS laid out plans to launch a new national procurement platform for technology – promising to streamline and centralise technology procurement to make use of its buying power.
