British MPs have told the government it should exercise the break clause in its £330 million NHS contract with Palantir, describing the company's increasing presence in the public sector as an “unacceptable point of weakness”.

The Science, Innovation and Technology Committee said the controversial US software firm had shown a “mismatch with UK values”.

They said after exercising the February 2027 break clause, the government should try to replace the NHS system with UK-based providers where possible – or build an in-house developed data platform.
