NVIDIA will give startups access to its servers in exchange for a share of the revenue they make using them, under a new business model launched this week.
The revenue-sharing programme will give AI cloud companies struggling to finance hardware payments cheaper access to hardware by asking them to hand over a share of their cloud earnings for an undefined period.
In a press release Wednesday, CFO Colette Kress said the deal opens the door for firms with “limited access to capital-intensive infrastructure”, with Australian neoclouds Sharon AI and Firmus the first to sign up.
