Uber has turned to six open source tools to overhaul its internal infrastructure, so its own network can be as “observable, reliable, and automated” as its product.
In a blog post published last week, Uber said that since successfully migrating to a new corporate observability system, engineers can resolve issues faster and reduce recurring licensing fees by “hundreds of thousands” of dollars.
