ChatGPT 5.5 and Codex now on Bedrock, with direct line to AWS's customers

A month after first teasing the launch, OpenAI is rolling out its frontier models and Codex coding tool to AWS’s Bedrock AI platform, seeking a share of the service's 125,000 users.

The ChatGPT maker announced its plans to bring its latest models to Bedrock in April after further decoupling itself from Microsoft, following the end of their exclusive licensing deal.
