United Health, one of the world’s largest healthcare firms, will spend $1.5 billion on AI this year – and aims to get double the amount back.

The $350 market cap healthcare colossus told investors this week that approximately a third of that figure would be spent on software products and two-thirds on “signature end-to-end processes and functions.”
