Every year NATO runs a competitive cybersecurity exercise – this year, focused on defending national IT/OT systems and critical infrastructure.

For the second year running, Singapore was on the winning team.

The tiny island state is not a NATO member, but the Locked Shields exercise typically involves some external organisations and nations, which team up with members to defend against large scale simulated cyberattacks.
