A new coding model will come to Cursor and xAI's Beta-stage Grok Build platform.
As the dust settles on its record IPO, SpaceX is already signalling its future priorities, signing a $60 billion deal to acquire AI coding platform Cursor.
The Elon Musk-helmed company, which folded in Musk’s struggling AI lab, xAI, in February, is pushing ahead with the buyout option of a deal signed with Cursor parent company Anysphere in April.
On Tuesday, SpaceX said it signed the all-stock deal after “jointly training a model with Cursor” in recent months and expected to roll out the model to Cursor and its own Grok Build coding tool “soon”.
