Nvidia's GPUs remain the central building block for the AI boom, and the company told investors Wednesday that it expects that situation to continue well into its next fiscal year.

For the company's second quarter of its 2027 fiscal year, Nvidia reported revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% compared to the same period last year. Analysts had been expecting $92.2 billion in revenue, and the company's stock rose nearly 4% in after-hours trading.
