After pleading guilty last month to orchestrating the damaging attacks on Transport for London in 2024, a pair of hackers that belonged to the Scattered Spider group received sentences of five years and six months in prison Thursday.
Thalha Jubair, 20, from East London, and Owen Flowers, 18, from Walsall, West Midlands, were sentenced after what was "only the second criminal prosecution of its kind in the UK under the Computer Misuse Act (CMA)," the National Crime Agency said Thursday.
