Water company to spend £140 million on sewer sensors after testing controversy

MQTT data from the sensors will be processed by AI; vendors wanting to participate need to offer hardware and software.

A UK water company plans to install around 60,000 sensors to monitor sewer levels just a few months after reports it had missed thousands of pollution tests due to “no flows” at sewage plants.
